Rooted in Faith, Growing in Unity
At the Port Hardy Islamic Center, we understand the deep spiritual significance of praying on time. Salah (prayer) is one of the five pillars of Islam, and observing it punctually connects Muslims to Allah (SWT), brings discipline to daily life, and nurtures a sense of peace and balance.

Welcome to the Port Hardy Islamic Center, a newly established space dedicated to serving the spiritual, educational, and social needs of Muslims living in and around Port Hardy, British Columbia. Located at the northern tip of Vancouver Island, the Muslim population, though small in number, is vibrant, diverse, and committed to maintaining their religious values while contributing positively to the local community. As the Muslim community began to grow, so did the need for a dedicated space for prayers (Salah), religious education, community gatherings, and outreach programs.
